Position:  F/T CFO

TOWNSHIP OF BERKELEY HEIGHTS, Union County seeks experienced Certified Municipal Finance Officer  as stated in NJSA 40A:9-140.1, et seq. Responsibilities include budget preparation together with Township Administrator & oversight throughout the year, maintenance of general ledger, debt & grant management, investment & disbursement of funds, purchasing & payroll. Candidate must be able to communicate, well orally, as well as in written form and must have good interaction with people. Attendance and participation at all Council and Budget meetings is required. Minimum 3 - 5 years municipal finance experience, Edmunds software knowledge and strong computer literacy a must. 35 hours per week, Salary DOQ. Normal reporting relationship is to the Mayor and Township Administrator with a dotted line to the Council President on budgetary matters.

Position:  SCHOOL CROSSING GUARDS

The Township of Berkeley Heights is accepting applications for Substitute Crossing Guards with the potential for a permanent position. Hours of employment are 7:35am to 8:35am and 2:45pm to 3:45pm.
